James 2:14

Last night, a friend and I were discussing James 2:14 Dear brothers and sisters, what's the use of saying you have faith if you don't prove it by your actions? That kind of faith can't save anyone as it relates to living out our faith in Christ.  I told my friend last night that my Biblical understanding is extremely shallow, but God's Grace has continually reminded me that I my faith is best expressed  through love; that is centered in Christ. I must live out my faith, not just mouth the words. Here in, lies my biggest struggle as a Christian, for I can profess my faith assuredly, pointing to God's Grace evidenced in the mere fact that I am actually breathing air at this very moment.  Where I fail miserably as a Christian is carrying this faith into my daily interactions with others outside the church walls.  I am reminded that in Galatians 5:6  What is important is faith expressing itself in love.  My prayer for today, is that as I go forth, I consistently carry His Love with me in all of my thoughts and actions.  Selah
